Rock Solid is proud to release it's new Chainless Stealth Model, drive line system bicycle. In perfecting our new revolutionary design we have created a chainless bicycle suited to withstand tough off-road conditions, hi performance and low maintenance.
The Rock Solid Chainless drive system incorporates a maintenance free drive train, utilising Shimano’s Nexus in hub gear system. It delivers a unsurpassed smooth ride, with effortless gear changing compared to traditional chain driven and derailleur system.
The benefits of a Rock Solid Chainless bicycle system are:
- the Shimano Nexus in hub gear system is totally lubricated and sealed at manufacture, meaning:
- all moving components are concealed, so fingers or clothing will not come into contact with any moving drive train components and result in injuries or damage
- dust, road grime and water ingress are eliminated, and there is a complete impact resistance against external environment knocks and bumps compared to traditional chain and derailleur systems which is totally exposed
- easy loading on and off bike carriers, with no messy chains or derailleur system to cause damage to skin, clothes or vehicle
- No maintenance required for the life of the total drive train system
- the Shimano’s Nexus in hub gear system
- offers an unsurpassed gear changing response, enabling optimal gear selection at any given time whether in motion or standing at rest, with clear indication of gear on grip shift
- provides a fantastic gear range, coupled to Rock Solid Chainless drive system, delivers any gear ratio required for any terrain - the 8 speed chainless system is equivalent to traditional 24 speed chain and derailleur system
- shaft drive operates effortlessly, with no chain or derailleur noise or vibration
- consistent efficiency through operating drive train system when compared to traditional chain and derailleur drive train - chainless system attains a minimum 95% efficiency compared to traditional chain and derailleur systems which at best will only attain 70% to 90%, if serviced and aligned correctly
- ground clearance of 320mm compared to traditional chain and derailleur set up of 160mm
